About Us I am Helen Nicholson of Metallicat British shorthairs based in Farningham, north Kent. I have been breeding kittens for 20 years, specialising in black silver tabbies and spotteds. My aim is to breed healthy, well adjusted, friendly kittens who conform to the breed standard of points as set out by the GCCF (Governing Council of Cat Fancy). Kittens are reared in our home, so becoming used to the usual comings and goings of family life. Our cats' and kittens' wellbeing is very important to us, ever striving to enhance our working knowledge of feline husbandry. We have a good working relationship with our vet with whom we consult if needs be. I am a member of a number of cat clubs, including the British shorthair cat club, Southern British shorhair cat club and hold the officer's post of Secretary and membership secretary for the Kentish Cat Society, all of whom are GCCF affiliated. << back
